This Bowhunter Almost Died When a Bull Moose Charged at His Missed Arrow

 On Tuesday, September 13, an archery hunt for a moose in Larimer County.

 Colorado resulted in the need for emergency medical transport by helicopter to the nearest hospital.

  Due to the adult male bowhunter's failed shot, a moose charged at him and severely injured him.

 The Larimer County Sheriff's Office said that the hunter's GPS notified them late in the morning.

  Near Poudre Canyon, along Long Draw Road, up near Highway 14 was where he was found.
