FUEL LEAK DISRUPTS LAUNCH COUNTDOWN OF NASA MOON ROCKET

Controllers suspended tanking operations, which were already behind schedule by one hour due to off-shore storms.

Alarm systems prompted another momentary delay as the countdown's crucial minutes ticked away

The Saturn V rocket that sent humans to the moon fifty years ago was no match for NASA's new 322-foot (98-meter) rocket.

If this test mission is successful, it will be the first time a crew capsule has entered lunar orbit in half a century.

The Orion spacecraft was empty atop the rocket at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

Managers have said that they would not know for sure whether the repairs were successful until Monday, when they try to fill the rocket's tanks
